Parents living in dense urban centers face many obstacles when traveling with their child using current stroller systems. Existing strollers are large, cumbersome and space demanding. Not only are they difficult for parents to use in the city, but they are also an impedance to fellow pedestrians. My project, CitiStroll, attempts to alleviate navigation and flow issues created by large strollers. With short in city commutes, parents can take their child with CitiStroll into areas where conventional strollers did not have the ability to reach. No more parking strollers outside the store and being trapped in the subway system. CitiStroll combines function without bulk. Agility, performance and beauty have resulted from extensive research and design exploration.
