Industrial Design
The Bachelor of Design (Industrial Design Major) focuses on giving form to products and systems by applying a user-centered methodology. The fundamental aim of Industrial Design is to expand human capacity in a way that satisfies our needs as emotional, physical and intelligent beings. Industrial designers are concerned with the way people respond to objects; communicate with others; find pleasure, comfort and safety in activities; and extend their physical and psychological limitations. Equally important is the impact of designs on their systems, on society, and on the environment as a whole.
