My practice focuses on unraveling my cultural roots and clarifying my identity as a First Nations/English descendant. Through this progression of unearthing and unsettling roots, my practice becomes continually redefined. By acknowledging my ancestral path I am able to pay tribute to from where I come from, and recognize how cultural loss has influenced my destiny. This relationship of loss parallels with that of current government and environmental issues, making way for continual responses within my artistic practice.
