I pattern my creative process on the natural process of deterioration of the changing landscape. My work reflects this in the way that it is a reinterpretation of something that once had an alternate life. The architecture of falling down buildings and the exploration of their interiors and discovery of the contents has been a journey that I continue to explore and present through making art. Observing and experiencing current landscape, collecting found objects, and using those artifacts literally in my installation pieces is a way of revisiting these past experiences. I hope to envoke in the viewer the mystery of time as embodied by nature’s changes and how our perception is altered by natural events beyond our control. I combined drawings with the found objects to personify the piece 50 Crows. Thank you for viewing my work.
