These images document a permanent outdoor installation of an ensemble of sculptures I designed and constructed for a 1.5 acre rural site on Galiano Island, B.C.. As the viewer moves through and around the work, the changes in perspective reveal hidden details of the construction, the site and its surroundings.
My sculptural practice is primarily focused on designing objects that express an ambiguous visual logic in order to temporarily displace the viewer’s habitual perceptions with a pleasurable confusion and uncertainty.
