Big Things in Small Towns is a set of travel cards telling the strange stories and amazing adventures behind the large and wacky roadside monuments in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Designed to be used during a lengthy road trip through Canada’s Prairie provinces, this set includes sixty cards, each featuring a Big Thing with information about why it exists and how to find it, a map of its location, and stickers to indicate which monuments have been visited. This project was a collaboration between Grace and the generous residents of the featured towns—the images used in the project were acquired through a call for photos, which generated an overwhelming number of submissions.
