After designing web sites outside of the curriculum for several years, it was an invaluable learning experience and privilege to be able to spend three months designing and fine-tuning a web project that I could truly be proud of. I owe much to my classmates and instructor who guided and encouraged me throughout the process. The purpose of the site is to encourage discussion and action on issues in our food supply, such as quality degradation. The images and content focus especially upon the sensory experience, a crucial and often absent part of the modern food consumption process. For me, it was both an opportunity to advance my skills and, perhaps even more so, to carefully consider my choices in food selection. I am truly changed because of it, and it has set a standard for my future projects. Thank you to all who became a part of it.
